According to citymirrornews, some Osun youth, organized by the Coalition of Concerned Nigerian Citizens, participated in nationwide protests against hunger and suffering on Thursday, despite the government's rejection of the event.
Security forces were stationed in crucial places like Olaiya, the Old Garage, Freedom Park, the Governor's Secretariat, Abere, Igbona, the Stadium, and others.
The protesters marched peacefully from the Freedom Park to Olaiya-Ogo Oluwa, carrying placards with inscriptions such as “There is hunger in the land”, “Bring back fuel subsidy”, and “Reverse electricity tariff” “Enough is Enough”.
