The Lekki toll gate was this evening visited by Governor Jide Sanwo-Olu to address thousands of protesters from # ENDSARS. The governor identified the young people and assured them that there would be no instances of police brutality in the state again.

He asked the demonstrators to be calm and respect other residents' rights. The governor promised justice and fair compensation for their families for all deceased victims of police brutality.

He also promised to take the demands of the protesters to President Muhammdu Buhari tomorrow.
