President Muhammadu Buhari was on Wednesday summoned by the House of Representatives over the incessant killings in parts of the country.
It was gathered that the lawmakers in the lower legislative chambers will suspend sitting for three days in solidarity with Nigerians over the killings in notably Benue state.
Suspected herdsmen have launched series of attacks on several communities in the North-central state, with the latest the killing of at least 20 persons Tse Agudu, Mbawa area.
SpyLoaded had also reported that several persons had been declared missing in the area, with Governor Samuel Ortom reported to have cut short his vacation over the crisis. Also More than 53 persons were killed in separate attacks on Gwer East and Guma areas of the state on Tuesday.
