The nation also posted fewer cases of the deadly virus on Saturday, with 112 new cases for Nigeria confirmed by the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control, NCDC. This compares with the 156 registered cases on Friday. This brings the country's cumulative COVID-19 infections to 64,996, with 61,029 discharged survivors and 1,163 confirmed fatalities. On Saturday, Lagos, which had 70 cases on Friday, didn't report any cases. Oyo and FCT posted 27 new cases each to stay on top of the chat. New cases were reported in 14 States and the FCT on Saturday.
