It was gathered that the incident that led to the death of a Neighborhood watch leader, Musa, occurred Thursday in Danrimi, Kadawa district, Kano state's Ungogo local government area. Sources in the region who spoke on condition of anonymity said after his breakup with his fiancee, Musa took his own life and Umi Muhammad struggled to work out despite financial investments and commitments. They said the relationship between late Musa and Umi within the neighborhood was a common one, and that many did not expect to end in a tragedy. When contacted, DSP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, the Kano State Police Public Relations Officer, confirmed the incidence to newsmen saying police commissioner CP Habu Sani has ordered a thorough investigation into the tragic incident. “We took the man to the Murtala hospital and he was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital. The Commissioner of Police has ordered an investigation on circumstances surrounding the tragic incident,” DSP Haruna however said.
