Posted by: Miss Ifeoluwa« on: January 09, 2016, 10:32:17 PM »A commercial driver identified as Kehinde Akangbi has been accused of setting his 22 year old son, Sola ablaze for allegedly stealing from a roadside beggar in Omu-Aran in Kwara state. According to a report by Vanguard, Sola who is a Wheelbarrow pusher and alleged troublemaker, was accused of stealing money from roadside beggars. He was apprehended and then taken to his father who allegedly took him to the bush at Omu-Aran-Isanlu-Isin road where he tied his hands and leg and then set him on fire. Graphic pic after the cut...*viewer discretion advised* Sola, who was still alive when he was rescued, told his rescuers that his father was responsible for the act. He was rushed to the Ajisafe Hospital, Omu-Aran where he was treated for high degree burns. He passed away as the fire had burnt most parts of his body. The mother of the deceased, Rachael, who was at the hospital when her son died, expressed her sadness at the allegation that her son's father who she has since separated from, carried out such an act on their son. The Kwara state Police Public Relation Officer Ajayi Okunsanmi confirmed the incident and said the suspect was already in police custody and that investigation was ongoing.
