The death of Bamidele Akinola, a colossal loss to Osun state.  ......says Governor Ademola Adeleke.

Osun state Governor ,Senator Ademola Adeleke has noted with great shock and disbelief ,the death of one of the illustrious sons of the state,who,particularly contributed immensely to its growth and  development while alive, Mr Bamidele Akinola.

Governor Adeleke who was represented by the  Commissioner for Protocol and Government House, Mr. Soji Ajeigbe made this known during a condolence visit to the family of the deceased, who retired as a   Permanent Secretary in Osun State.

Mr. Ajeigbe who led other top government officials to the residence of the deceased on behalf of  Governor Ademola Adeleke, described the late Akinola as one individual ,who will be greatly missed by all.

According to the Governor, "Mr. Bamidele Akinola was our leader, a courageous one for that matter. He served the State diligently as a Permanent Secretary before his  retirement.  He was until his last breadth, a Special Adviser on Civil Service Matters in the present Osun State Executive Council.
"We pray that all the legacies of good works exemplified by him while alive will earn him good rest in the bosom of His creator.
"May God console the family he left behind and give them the necessary fortitude to bear the great loss. Amen".

Speaking, the Wife of the deceased ,Mrs. Olujoke Akinola who received the Osun State Government delegation at the residence of the family situated  at G.R.A Oke-fia,Osogbo, appreciated Governor Ademola Adeleke for the love and remarkable recognition for her late husband even in death just as she equally  thanked him for counting him worthy of appointment as a Special Adviser during his life time.

On the entourage of  Governor Adeleke who was represented by the Honorable Commissioner for Protocol and Cabinet Matters,Hon. Soji Ajeigbe, were the Permanent Secretary, Bureau of Cabinet, Special Services , Office of the SSG; Mr Olusoji Wojuade,his counterpart from Local Government Service Commission, Mrs. Modupe Irelewuyi as well as that of the  Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Mr  Olufemi Ogundun with the Permanent Secretary, General Services, Government House and Protocol, Mr A.T Okandeji completing the list of the high powered Osun Government delegation to the family of the deceased.
