Kogi state governor, Yahaya Bello, has declared Monday a public holiday in celebration of the return of President Muhammadu Buhari.
This is contained in a statement issued by the director-general, media and publicity to the governor, Kingsley Fanwo.
The gesture, the statement said, is to show the support and prayers of the Kogi people concerning the President’s health and the renaissance of the nation which his return would trigger. President Muhammadu Buhari returned to Nigeria on Saturday, bringing to an end over a hundred days of medical vacation taken in London.
