Speech delivered by Comrade Olalere Benedict Adetunji, Chairman of the Committee for the NAPS National Outstanding Leadership Performance Award, on the occasion of presenting the NOLPA 2024 to MR ADEBAYO TAIWO ALIYU and MRS ADEBAYO RASHEEDAT TOBI of ZUTRAD Ventures LTD, Lagos  State, Nigeria.

On behalf of the National Executive Council of NAPS and the entire Polytechnic Students in Nigeria, we bring greetings to you and the entire management and staff of your Organization. It is with utmost acknowledgment and regard that our delegates are in your office today, symbolizing hope for the sector you represent and your Push for a better Society in Nigeria.



The National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS), with over 10 million polytechnic students in Nigeria, has been committed to mentoring and training individuals and students in leadership. Our goal is to produce the best leaders of this generation, particularly within the African continent, towards sustainable leadership standards.

There are empirical facts of failed administrations, businesses, establishments and cultural developments in Africa due to a lack of understanding, experience, and the required skills to sustain all levels of life. Bridging the gap from natural ability to professionalism has been our main focus and goal.



Our visit today is to commend your significant efforts and contributions towards the development of human capacity in Nigeria. We cannot overlook the fact that your organization has improved human resources over the years and has built successful human capacity in Nigeria. This deserves commendation.



The National Executive Council and the Senate Arm of NAPS present the highest honour of our association to Mr ADEBAYO TAIWO ALIYU and MRS ADEBAYO RASHEEDAT TOBI  as a testament to your  professional skills in business development, human capacity development, entrepreneurship, given adequate Opportunity to Polytechnic Products in your organization and being a good Products of Polytechnic  in Nigeria.



Abraham Lincoln may have had someone like two of you  in mind when he said, "Gold is good in its place, but loving, brave, and patriotic Men and women are better than gold." Mr and Mrs ADEBAYO  are indeed better than gold. We are proud to identify with your Esteem Personalities because doing so means identifying with greatness, progress, smart work, innovation, creativity, knowledge, integrity and light over darkness.
