The Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, has claimed that the Ark of Noah and Tower of Babel are in Ile-Ife, the ancestral home of Yoruba kingdom.

The monarch made this disclosure via his Twitter.

“The Tower of Babel and The ark of Noah are both in ilé-ifè #AroleOduduwa”, he tweeted via his handle @OoniAdimulaIfe.


The handle, though not verified, is known for tweeting activities of the king.

A quick check at his profile reads, “Official tweets by His Imperial Majesty Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Babatunde Ogunwusi Ojaja II, Ooni of Ife Arole Oduduwa”.

The king didn’t, however, back his claim with pictorial evidences.

The story of Noah’s Ark was told in the Bible in the book of Genesis and Quran where God asked Noah to build an ark as he was going to destroy the eath with water.
