In advance of the Osun State governorship election, which is scheduled for July 16, 2022, INEC announced that the number of voting places has grown from 3,010 to 3,763.

In his remarks at the Capacity Building For Journalists In Osun State On The New Innovations In The Conduct Of Elections The Constitution/Legal Issues In The New Electoral Act 2022, We have been distributing PVCs. We will do everything to ensure every one gets their PVCs  before the election. An additional 3,000 PVCs will be delivered to us tomorrow, Prof. Abdulganiyu Raji made this clear on Saturday in Osogbo, Osun State.

"In addition, Our voting places rose from 3,010 to 3,763 as a result of the increased voter access to polling places, and I'm happy to say that none of them lacks a voter. Thus, the election will take place at every polling place in the state "He spoke.

Festus okoye Esq, plead with the media to be factual, objective and professional in reporting the #OsunDecides2022.The media must on no account attempt to know or report on the way someone has voted. The secrecy of the ballot is at the heart of the democratic process.

"Mr Obaje Ukeh stated that It is important we verify information before we put it out there. We hope that #OsunDecides2022 will be better than Ekiti , we hope that participants here present will contribute to the success we look forward to having in Osun State by putting out verified and accurate info.
