NSE President Inspects Osun's Infrastructure Projects, Commends Governor Adeleke.

The president and chairman in council of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) "Engr. Margaret Aina Oguntala, FNSE" paid a visit to Osogbo, Osun state, to inspect the ongoing dualisation of Akoda - Baptist High School Road, Ede by the government of Governor Ademola Adeleke.

This project is part of Governor Adeleke’s Multi Billion Naira infrastructure plan to open Osun for investment and improve the economy of the state.

Earlier today, Engineer Margaret Aina Oguntala, FNSE, led a COREN and NSE team, including officials from the Osun State Ministry of Works, on an inspection tour of the ongoing Akoda-BHS-Oke Gad Road Dualisation and the Osun River Bridge at Oke Gada, Ede.

The President of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), Engr. Margaret Aina Oguntala (FNSE), has praised Osun State Governor, Sen. Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, for utilizing local engineers to manage the state's massive infrastructure projects.

Th project which is part of Governor Adeleke’s Multi Billion Naira infrastructure plan to open Osun for investment and improve the economy of the state.

During her two-day working visit to Osun State, Oguntala inspected ongoing projects, including the Akoda, Ede Dual Carriage Way, and Flyover Bridge, she commended the governor for the warm welcome and described the projects as "massive and outstanding," noting that they will benefit the masses upon completion.

Oguntala stated that the NSE National Executive Officers unanimously chose to visit Osun State to witness the infrastructure projects, and she encouraged other state governors to emulate Governor Adeleke's approach of using local engineers for their projects.

In his remark, the Commissioner for Special Duties and Regional Integration, Hon. B.T. Salami, representing the governor, welcomed Oguntala and expressed the governor's eagerness to meet her at the Government House on Friday.

He reaffirmed the governor's commitment to patronizing local engineers, ensuring they benefit from government projects.
