Security faculty joined to Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti state would be pulled back on Saturday, the day of the governorship race in the state, police have said.

Agent Inspector General of Police, Operations, Habila Joshak, affirmed this when he said that security detail of vital identities in the state would will be pulled back.

He additionally said that no political gathering would be permitted to hold any political rally that isn't endorsed by the Police until the point that the race is held.

Joshak, while tending to correspondents on Wednesday, said police experts had reached security detail of Governor Fayose and the applicant of the All Progressives Congress, Kayode Fayemi, and other best government authorities to report at 6am at the Police central station in Ado-Ekiti on Saturday.

"We won't enable anyone to go to the surveying stall with outfitted men, since it will be a break of the Electoral Act," he said.

"We have reached them and they must be here before decision begins. This decision must not be imperiled.

"They will be archived and whoever resists this will be endorsed, on the grounds that they have been reached."
