The Management of the PPMC has restated its commitment towards ensuring adequate distribution of petroleum products nationwide.
With the call off of the strike action by PENGASSAN and NUPENG, the Oil and Gas labour unions, PPMC in a statement on Thursday said it had stepped up efforts to fill the void in supply created by the impasse.

It said as at today, 228 trucks have been dispatch from Suleja – Abuja city, while the outskirts and environs have received 52 trucks.

However, the stations around Suleja have taken possession of 23 trucks and 30 trucks have been dispatched beyond Suleja, adding that all the major filling stations and key outlets like Total, Conoil, Forte Oil have been fully served with more than sufficient products.

This is expected to drastically diminish the queues if not erase them totally.

“Meanwhile the staff of PPMC have been sent out to monitor the activities at the filling stations.

“The public is hereby advised to give maximum cooperation.

“Eye witness reports are encouraged to forward any unruly behavior to our facebook account – ppmc_ngr/facebook.com and @ppmc_ngr for twitter”, the statement added.
