The Nigeria Police Force on Tuesday expressed that the killing of seven officers in Abuja has demonstrated the requirement for the Special Anti-robbery Squad (SARS).

According to Concise News, Seven policemen have been killed by unknown gunmen on patrol along the Nnamdi Azikiwe Road, Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.

The officers were killed in Galadimawa region of the Federal Capital Territory on Monday night.

Talking with correspondents in Abuja, the Police Public Relations Officer, Force Headquarters, ACP Jimoh Moshood, said endeavors were set up to capture the individuals who slaughtered the officers in the line of obligation.

He included that the power would not leave any stone unturned in conveying the culprits to book.

"The murdering of the policemen goes far to demonstrate that the require the disbandment of the SARS isn't defended," he said
