Ritualists kill 45 years old woman, remove vital parts in Osun State



ASHIATA YEKEEN SALIMON: DECLARED MISSING BUT FOUND DEAD

The prime suspects in the case of the missing Ashiata Yekeen nee Salimon has been nabbed!

This major breakthrough was achieved on Monday (4th April, 2022) night when Muhideen Tunji Adebayo of Ago's Compound, Ileogbo was apprehended in Lalupon, Lagelu Local Government, Oyo State by a team of Anti Kidnapping Squad of Osun State Police Command. His confession to the crime led to the arrest of his major accomplice, one Alfa Musi of Agoro Area, Iwo in the early hours of today Wednesday 6th April, 2022. Meanwhile, another suspect popularly called Orela from Kuta had earlier been apprehended detained at the Homicide section of the state CID, Osogbo.

After a comprehensive statement of confession of Muhideen Adebayo to the kidnapping and the eventual murder of Ashiata Yekeen Salimon, a site inspection of the burial site of  the corpse was conducted by the AKS with the chief suspect, Muhideen on Tuesday 5th April, 2022.

In preparation for the legal phase ahead towards securing Justice for the victim in particular and the humanity at large, exhumation and pathological examination/autopsy was conducted today Wednesday 6th April 2022 by seasoned pathologists from OAUTH, Ile-Ife.

The corpse was thereafter released to the family for burial in Islamic way. This sadly marks the end of the four weeks search for a missing Ashiata Yekeen Salimon.

We can not but thank God Almighty the giver and the Taker of life. Every soul created would definitely taste death on his appointed hour and destined circumstances. Ashiata has completed her sojourn and had finally returned to her Lord in this decreed way. May her errors be overlooked and may she be granted eternal rest as an inmate of Jannah.

Kudos is well deserved and is hereby given to all security operatives, both locals and the conventional. The demonstrated zeal and synergy of operations are just hope rekindling. We fervently hope this tempo would be sustained to the end of
