National Council of Women Societies (NCWS) has urged parents in the North-East to stop donating their Children to Boko Haram terrorists to be used as suicide bombers.
The NCWS call was in reaction to the warning issued by the Nigerian Army high command to parents in Borno to stop donating their daughters to Boko Haram.
The council described the act as ”unthinkable and despicable”, advising those involved in it to stop the practice.
It appealed to traditional and community leaders and other well-meaning Nigerians especially in the North-East, to dissuade parents from donating their daughters or wards for indoctrination and suicide bombing missions.
