Students of the Tayo Akpata University of Education, Ekiadolor, Edo State, on Monday, protested along the Benin-Lagos Expressway over the poor state of the institution.

Motorists, travelers are presently stranded on the Benin-Lagos Expressway due to a protest by students of the Tayo Akpata University of Education.

The school which is located in the Ovia North-East Local Government Area of the state is owned by the Edo state government.

Residents of Ekiadolor community are also reported to have joined the students in the protest.
