Posted by: Miss Ifeoluwa« on: July 24, 2016, 10:40:09 PM »Troops of Operation LAFIYA DOLE on Sunday killed two Boko Haram terrorists during its clearance operation in Musafanari, Borno State. Disclosing this in a statement, the Army’s acting spokesperson, Col Sani Usman said the terrorists were gunned down while trying to “cross into Sambisa forest from Komala and Musafanari axis” of the state. The statement reads, “In the early hours of this morning, troops of Operation LAFIYA DOLE ambushed Boko Haram terrorists crossing into Sambisa forest from Komala and Musafanari axis with logistics items. “The ambush party killed two Boko Haram terrorists, while 2 soldiers sustained gunshot wounds. The wounded have since been airlifted and are receiving treatment at a military medical facility.’ The statement further disclosed that, “two AK-47 rifles with registration numbers 565214175 and 5-65399 respectively, 4 AK-47 rifle magazines fully loaded, 25 litres of petrol, as well as assorted food items” were recovered from the terrorist group.
