Three individuals are feared dead in Bayelsa state after policemen and a few young people conflicted in Amassoma, have group of Niger Delta University (NDU), on Tuesday.

It was accumulated that some policemen and a few young people and ladies were harmed.

As per reports, a savage challenge was arranged over the re-opening of the state-claimed varsity without clear proclamations on the destiny of the resigned specialists of the insitution.

It was found out that authorities of the state government met with the representing chamber of the school, board of head of Amassoma people group and different partners throughout the end of the week on account of the issues.  An assention for the reviving of the school was said to have been come to.

Be that as it may, the adolescents of the group were not satisfied with the determination, as indicated by reports, as they were said to have promised not to enable the school to be revived, prompting the viciousness.  Policemen in the territory were supposedly overwhelmed.

An onlooker stated, "They first withdrew into the premises of the University and called for support. Later they began shooting teargas and shots at the dissidents. Numerous were harmed and around three people were shot and they are dreaded dead. They were hurried to the healing center."

Notwithstanding, police in the state say their men did not shoot anybody, including that policemen were the ones assaulted, prompting the damage of one officer.
