The 2018 edition of the reality TV show, Big Brother Naija, kicked off on Sunday to fanfare, music performances and a few new twists.

The show, hosted by the ever well-dressed Ebuka Obi Uchendu, had double the usual number of contestants. The new edition has 20, and not the usual 10.

Big Brother has spiced up the “Double Wahala” edition show with the fake eviction of six housemates on the first night.

This was barely an hour after the housemates were ushered into the Arena.

Their fake “eviction” was as a result of “Situational choice”.

Big Brother puts it this way, “We make our choices in life but sometimes, our choices makes us”.

He said, housemates were told to pick a number that matches a bed space. The housemates who couldn’t get a matching number in on the bed were told to leave the house under the disguise of an eviction.

The six housemates who were evicted were shocked to find out that it was fake, as they were treated to a lavish suite and a cuisine.

Meanwhile, the other housemates are terrified that at the first day of the show six housemates, without settling in already have been evicted.

The Big Brother Naija show season three will air for 85 days with 20 housemates hoping to emerge winner.

The winning prize, as announced by the organiser, M-Net West Africa is N45 million. N20 million higher than what was won by the winner of the 2017 edition, Efe Ejeba.
