CUT THROAT CITY is the account of four childhood companions in New Orleans' Lower Ninth Ward who return after Hurricane Katrina to discover their homes destroyed, no occupations, and no assistance from FEMA. Reluctantly swinging to a neighborhood criminal for work, the companions are enlisted to pull off a challenging heist in the core of the city.

In any case, the activity turns sour and they wind up on the run, chased by two optimistic criminologists and an area warlord who thinks the companions stole the heist cash.
