After seemingly questioning Ikechukwu‘s impact on the rap scene almost 2 weeks ago, ‘King Kong’ rapper, Olanrewaju Ogunmefun popularly known as Vector Tha Viper, has denied ever being disrespectful to the former Storm records rapper.
During an interview session with Hip TV’s Emma Ugolee on April 25, Vector had clapped back at Killz when the latter asked what he (Vector) had done in the industry that was ‘extraordinary’.
The ‘Lafiaji’ rapper had replied Ikechukwu’s remark that ‘anyone could freestyle at home’ with, ‘I made money from my 2 hour freestyle, did you make anything off yours?’
Speaking with Hip Tv in a new interview however, the 2015 Headies’ ‘Lyricist on the Roll’ denied any form of deep animosity towards Killz.
‘It wasn’t beef. It wasn’t being dissing or disrespecting anybody,’ he said while explaining that he was only trying to make a point about his free-styling.
‘I have love for Ikechukwu,’ he maintained, before further saying the heated exchange could serve as a learning point for aspiring artistes.
