Report has it that the Law Faculty of the Benue State University (BSU) will soon lose its accreditation as the National Universities Commission has concluded plans to wirhdraw it.

This was disclosed by the Vice Chancellor of the institution, Prof. Msugh Kembe.

According to him, this is due to the fact that the faculty became necessary by the Council of Legal Education and NUC because the university has not met the professional requirement which include a well furnished mute court, law building, law clinic and library as well as proper mix of professional staff.

He further revealed that the faculty would need N119m to meet the requirements.
