Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, Ondo
State, Nigeria, has disowned the publication in the
social media, that the Institution has advertised its
Post Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.
The Principal Assistant Registrar (Admissions), Mr.
Tajudeen Salami, cleared the air today (Friday, July
3) while speaking with the Information Unit of the
University, saying the advertisement was false and
fraudulent.
Mr. Salami said, “We are aware that some
unscrupulous elements have been posting
information on social media, indicating that the
University has advertised its 2015/2016 Post UTME.
In actual fact, we have not advertised. As at
yesterday when the Committee on Post-UTME met,
we had not taken decision on what the cut-off mark
would be not to talk of asking candidates to apply.
“Adekunle Ajasin University does not advertise on
social media. The University advertises on the
University website and print and electronic media.
We would like to advise the general public to
disregard such advert on social media; it did not
emanate from the University.”
He advised candidates and the general public to be
wary of fraudsters.
Mr. Salami said Post-UTME advert would be placed
at the appropriate time and would be advertised in
the University website, print and electronic media.
