Daily Trust correspondent who visited the scene gathered that the corpse of the missing student was discovered in the bush near the house of a man known as Alfa. Some resident of Jafaria Street told Daily Trust that the Alfa who was arrested in connection with the case of the missing student took some police detectives to the bush where the decomposing body of the late student was found. Sympathisers including students of the university could not hold their tears. They cried and cursed the killer of the student. There was an unpleasant odour in the area where the corpse was found. The Commissioner of Police in the state, Mr. Fimihan Adeoye said the matter is under investigation. Angry students of the Osun State University have taken over the streets of Osogbo in protest against the alleged ritual killing of an undergraduate. The students had on Tuesday burnt down a house close to where the remains of Sonibare Timileyin, a 400 level Microbiology student was discovered. Resuming their demonstration on Wednesday morning, the angry students, dressed in black were said to have marched from their school campus at Oke Baale, to the Palace of the Ataoja of Osogbo, and made a stop at the Olaiya roundabout where a bonfire was made. The students who reportedly came out in thousands were seen destroying everything they came across, chasing people with sticks and iron materials.
