The Governor of Nasarawa State, Umaru Tanko Al-Makura has disclosed that all female students of the Nasarawa State University (NSUK) would be mandated to stay in the school hostels once the hostels which are currently under construction are completed.

The Governor made this known during an inspection of three block of 42 rooms hostel apartment under construction at the university’s Keffi campus.

According to him, it is a bad sight to see the manner female students are made to traverse the highway as they try to keep up with the routine of going to and fro their off-campus lodges and lecture halls.

He charged the contractors responsible to speed up the work and ensure that it is completed in the next few months.
