Prospective students of the University of Lagos are currently protesting the New Jamb Eligibility Regulation.
Many of the candidates who scored well above the 200 cut-off mark that UNILAG has been known for are unable to register for the 2015 post-UTME and are alternatively told that their names and details has been forwarded to other institutions.
It was gathered that UNILAG will not be the only school affected by this new JAMB policy.
According to an unconfirmed source, JAMB has shortlisted 9,937students (out of over 30,000 applicants) for UNILAG Post-Utme with cut-off marks ranging from 220,240,250& 255 depending on the course and catchement area
Many of the prospective candidates have declared this move illegal stating that JAMB shouldn't decide other institutions for them when they have met all requirements for UNILAG Post-UTME.
