A final year student of the University of Port Harcourt identified as Prince Digbani of the department of electrical engineering has reportedly committed suicide.

According to reports, the deceased complained to his friends severally over his lack of fulfilments in life, and was encouraged against committing suicide after he told them his intentions. However, the deceased went home and started updating suicidal notes on his status.

According to his tenants, they reportedly heard him screening and decided to check on him, they broke his door and found out that he had consumed some poisonous substance. He was rushed to the hospital after he was given palm oil.

He was unfortunately pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital.
