A student of Ekiti state university was caught naked on Instagram live video over giveaway of N1,500. The viral video was leaked by Eksu Sex Drum Crooner. Meanwhile Nigerian states have announced the shutting down of schools as part of preventive measures against the spread of coronavirus.

On March 29, President Muhammadu Buhari ordered the lockdown for an initial period of 14 days to tackle the spread of the coronavirus pandemic. As of that day, Nigeria had 111 COVID-19 cases with one death, according to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control. The cases were recorded in 11 states and the FCT.

A statement issued by the Commissioner for Education, Mrs. Folashade Adefisayo, stressed the need for parents to ensure that their children practice "social distancing" while at home, wash their hands regularly or use hand sanitizers and observe high standards of personal hygiene.
