Harry Kane hat-trick and a John Stones brace has fired England towards the last-16 in sensational style.

Manchester City defender Stones was unmarked to head the Three Lions into an eighth minute lead.

Kane then doubled the score with a thumping penalty on 22 minutes before Jesse Lingard's 36th minute rocket made it three.

Stones celebrated again on 40 minutes before skipper Kane stepped up once more from the spot to make it five.

Kane then scored a historic hat-trick on 61 minutes before being replaced.

England can secure their place in the knockout stages of the World Cup with a victory over Panama in the sweltering heat.

England now look set to go level with Belgium on six points meaning the winner of Thursday's clash will top Group G.
