A controversial VAR review brought Australia back level against Denmark.

Mile Jedinak converted from the spot after Yussuf Poulsen was adjudged to have handled the ball - although debate remains as to whether it was intentional or not.

Christian Eriksen had fired Denmark into the lead in the early stages of the game with a thumping volley from the edge of the area.

But the talk of the game is all VAR, as the previously unspotted incident was picked up by the video assistants.

Denmark took the lead courtesy of a lovely Eriksen strike, but it was downhill for the Danes from there as Australia grew into the game, winning and converting a penalty through Jedinak that was given with the aid of VAR. Australia then dominated the second half, while Denmark struggled to create anything of note. The result keeps Australia's hopes of progression just about alive, while Denmark take a little step towards securing their own place in the next round.

Follow all the action as it continues right here...

Denmark XI: Schmeichel, Larsen, Christensen, Kjaer, Dalsgaard, Delaney, Schone, Sisto, Eriksen, Poulsen, Nicolai Jorgensen.

Australia XI: Ryan, Sainsbury, Risdon, Behich, Milligan, Rogic, Jedinak, Mooy, Nabbout, Kruse, Leckie.
